In alignment with his commitment to creating a Safe and Secured UNIZIK under his BLESSed Vision, the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Joseph I. Ikechebelu, participated in the historic signing of the Anambra State Homeland Security Law, 2025.
With the signing of this Bill into Law, the Governor of Anambra has committed to rejig the entire security architecture in the state, giving them new impetus, incentive, and morale to discharge their duties.
Professor Ikechebelu’s vision to provide a Safe and Secured UNIZIK where teaching, research and community service thrives is on course as he is poised to make sure everyone feels safe on campus.
The event took place at the International Convention Centre, Awka, and was attended by prominent Ndi Anambra and security stakeholders.
