Admission into UNIZIK undergraduate programmes is through JAMB UTME and Post-UTME screening.
Candidates must sit the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and achieve the UNIZIK minimum cut-off mark for their chosen programme. Cut-off marks vary by faculty and are published each year.
Minimum of 5 credits in relevant subjects at one sitting (or 6 credits at two sittings), including English Language and Mathematics. Additional subject requirements apply by faculty:
Candidates who meet the JAMB cut-off must sit the UNIZIK Post-UTME computer-based test (CBT). Date: April 2026. Candidates are ranked on a combined JAMB and Post-UTME score.
Register and sit the UTME examination. Choose Nnamdi Azikiwe University as your first choice.
Verify your score meets or exceeds the UNIZIK cut-off for your chosen programme on the JAMB portal.
Purchase a UNIZIK Post-UTME form, complete registration on the UNIZIK admissions portal.
Attend the UNIZIK CBT screening at the designated centre on the scheduled date.
Check the JAMB admission portal and the UNIZIK student portal for your admission status.
Confirm admission by paying the acceptance fee and complete online documentation within 2 weeks of offer.
