NAU Nnewi ICT/CBT Centre Upgraded with 100 Computers

The ICT/CBT Centre at the College of Health Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nnewi, has received a major boost following the provision of 100 computers by the administration of the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Joseph I. Ikechebelu. This initiative aims to enhance digital operations and ease the conduct of Computer-Based Tests (CBT) for students, eliminating the need to travel to Awka for examinations.

Speaking during an in-house training session for college staff, the Provost, Prof. Jude-Kennedy Chinedu Emejulu, urged participants to maximize the facility for efficient and effective job performance. He reiterated the administration’s commitment to further development, emphasizing that Prof. Ikechebelu is dedicated to improving the overall condition of the College.

In a significant milestone, the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences and Technology became the first Department to conduct a CBT exam at the upgraded centre today, Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

With the full-scale operation of the CBT centre, Prof. Ikechebelu’s administration is steadily advancing towards the complete digitization of academic and administrative processes at the College.
