DR Ekene Agatha Emeka appointed Director, Residency Training at UNIZIK Medical Centre
UNIZIK VC APPOINTS DR EKENE AGATHA EMEKA AS DIRECTOR, RESIDENCY TRAINING AT MEDICAL CENTRE
The Vice-Chancellor, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie has appointed Dr. Ekene Agatha Emeka as Director of Residency Training, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Medical Centre, Awka.
Dr. Emeka is an Associate Professor of Family Medicine and a Consultant Family Medicine Physician at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH) Nnewi. She was the past coordinator of Family Medicine, UNIZIK and also a member of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Medical Centre Board.
According to the appointment letter signed by the Registrar, Dr. Chinenye Gloria Okeke, her appointment takes effect from 14th September, 2026.
“It is hoped that with this appointment, you will bring your wealth of experience to bear and continue to put in your best for the growth and advancement of the university” the letter stated.
