Abridged Citation of Chief Dr. Chika Emenike
Chief Dr Chika Emenike, was born on July 23, 1969, in Amanator Ozuakoli, Imo State, and is the founder, Chairman, and CEO of Kotec Group of Companies. He began his business career over 30 years ago with Chitec Motors Nig. Ltd. He later established Kotec Group in 2001, which encompasses subsidiaries in diverse industries, including automotive, food manufacturing, and hospitality.
A philanthropist and job creator, Chief Emenike employs over 3,000 Nigerians and has supported numerous individuals in establishing businesses. His contributions to societal development include rebuilding key infrastructure in his hometown and sponsoring various charitable initiatives. Chief Emenike is also an active member of several religious and social organizations.
He has received numerous awards, such as the Black Legend African Achiever (2009), EGPDF-Guinness African Industrialist of the Year (2012), and the National Productivity Order of Merit (2022). He holds an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration from Imo State University (2023).
Chief Emenike is married to Lolo Prisca Emenike, and they have children.
