    Areas of Specialization:

    (i) Biochemical Toxicology (ii) Hormone Biochemistry (iii) Mineral Biochemistry/Micronutrient Metabolism (iv) Nutritional Biochemistry (v) Human Biochemistry/Biochemical Interactions

     Admission requirements:

    O’level

    All candidates must have five credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology obtained at not more than two sittings.

    PGD

    The candidate must have a first degree . (Third Class Hons.) degree in Biochemistry and allied disciplines of Biological, Life and Medical Sciences with a minimum pass of a Second Class Honours (Lower Division).

    Master’s Degree

    1. The candidate must have a first degree in Biochemistry with an FCGPA of not less than 2.5 from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University

     

    Ph. D Programme

    A candidate who holds a master’s degree in Biochemistry with an FCGPA not less than 3.50 on a 5 Point Scale or an average of 60%, from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University may be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirement is satisfied
