    Area of Specialization: (i) Analytical Chemistry; (ii) Environmental Chemistry; (iii) Industrial Chemistry; (iv) Inorganic Chemistry; (v) Organic Chemistry (vi) Physical Chemistry; (vii) Polymer Chemistry

    Admission Requirement:

    O’level

    5 O’ level credits to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Agric Science obtained at not more than two sittings.

    Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

    The candidate must be a graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University with at least a Third Class degree in related discipline or a minimum of  lower  Credit in the Higher National Diploma, HND, in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry from a recognized Institution

    Master’s Degree (MSc)

    1. The candidate must have a first degree in the relevant discipline with an FCGPA of not less than 2.5 from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University
    2. A candidate with a Postgraduate Diploma with an FCGPA of not less than 3.00 may also be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirements are satisfied

    Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree

    A candidate who holds a master’s degree in a relevant discipline with an FCGPA not less than 3.50 on a 5 Point Scale or an average of 60%, from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University may be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirement is satisfied
