    Available Programme:   MA, Mphil/PhD and PhD

    Area of Specialization: (i) African Philosophy; (ii) Social and Political Philosophy; (iii) Metaphysics; (iv) Epistemology; (v) Ethics

    Admission Requirement:

    O’level

    5 O’ level credits to include English Language and any other 4 subjects and at least a pass in maths obtained at not more than two sittings.

    Master’s Degree (MA)

    1. The candidate must have a first degree in Philosophy or combined honors in Philosophy with an FCGPA of not less than 2.5 from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University

    MPhil/PhD

    A candidate who holds a master’s degree in Linguistics with an FCGPA not less than 3.00-3.49 on a 5 Point Scale from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University may be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirement is satisfied

    Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree

    A candidate who holds a master’s degree in Philosophy with an FCGPA not less than 3.50 on a 5 Point Scale or an average of 60%, from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University may be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirement is satisfied
