🎓 Alumni Members Empower UNIZIK Banking and Finance Students.
It was a glorious and heartwarming occasion at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) as members of the 1999 Set of the Department of Banking and Finance empowered students through generous educational support.
The alumni members donated laptops to students of Banking and Finance across all levels to enhance their academic pursuits and digital proficiency. In addition, cheques were presented to indigent students to assist with the payment of their school fees for the current academic session.
The presentation was carried out by the Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, Prof. Francis O. Nwankwo, in conjunction with the Head of Department, Prof. Gideon K. Ezu.
Representing the 1999 Set were Ahmed Inuwa and Martins Onyegbule, who reiterated the commitment of the alumni body to giving back to their alma mater.
Lecturers from various departments graced the occasion in solidarity and support.
In their response, the beneficiary students expressed profound gratitude for the thoughtful empowerment and assured the alumni that the laptops and financial support would be put to positive and productive use.
This remarkable gesture aligns with the vision of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, to foster a supportive academic environment and strengthen alumni engagement for the continued growth and development of UNIZIK.
It is hoped that other alumni sets will emulate this commendable act of generosity and commitment to academic excellence.
