
Delegation from the Faculty of Social Sciences Visits the Vice-Chancellor.
The Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, received a delegation of Heads of Departments from the Faculty of Social Sciences.
The delegation, led by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Michael Ezenwa, expressed gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor for the construction of the previously impassable road within the faculty premises. The Dean conveyed the appreciation of both staff and students for the intervention, noting its positive impact on accessibility within the faculty.
In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor reiterated his commitment to further infrastructural development, revealing plans to extend the road from the Economics Department to the road adjacent to the Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Hostel. He also acknowledged the support of friends and stakeholders in the ongoing renovation of the offices in the administrative block, assuring that the university environment would continue to witness significant transformation.
Members of the delegation included Prof. Allen Adum; Asso. Prof. Clement Ikezue; Dr. Cynthia Udeze; and Dr. Kenechukwu Okeyika. Also present were Ngozi Fidelia Adum, Faculty Administrative Officer, and her assistant, Chizobam Adi.
