UNIZIK RID® employs emerging and working diagnostic approaches including guided research, future search, positive deviant and appreciative inquiry approaches in project design and management of processes and development of systems which are rooted in state and national policies and statutes.
OWNERSHIP STRUCTURE
The UNIZIK RID is a Directorate of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University at Awka created for the purposes of forging a functional relationship of the town and gown and for providing consultancy services to organizations and individuals using the array of expertise in the University.

Under the World Bank funded Malaria Booster Project, UNIZIK RID members trained, deployed, supervised and monitored 3000 Community oriented Persons (CoRPs) for community management of malaria in the State as well as development and deployment of programme management solutions to the SMEP under the DFID-funded SuNMaP Project as well as supporting the QISS rollout under the SOML Project all in the State (World Bank Reports, SuNMaP Reports)
