Astute business mogul and multi-disciplinary professional, Dr Chukwuemeka Okolie has bagged a recognition award of excellence from the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University as a role model of distinction in educational support, business, professional diversification and service to humanity. Dr. Okolie is chairman of Aleppo Properties Ltd, Chudano Contracts & Consults Ltd, and Mariston Int’l General Trading Ltd.
Dr Okolie was among the distinguished awardees at the Alumni homecoming and award presentation organized by the Faculty of Management Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
Presenting the award to the recipient, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Charles Esimone, FAS congratulated him and other awardees for their support and glowing contributions to education and the development of the society at large.
In his remark, Dr. Okolie applauded the University and the organizers for identifying the need to reach out to their alumni and eminent Nigerians to support the growth and development of the institution. He assured the University of contributing his quota towards the completion of the faculty’s office complex.
The Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Pius Okoye in his remarks stated that the event was geared towards honouring the unwavering bond that their alumni shared with the University, as well as appreciating the societal contributions of other eminent Nigerians.
Dr Okolie is an alumnus of Leeds Beckett University, Leeds, UK; London School of Business and Finance, London; University of Ulster, Northern Ireland, UK; Telford College of Business Management, London; Pebbles Hills, University, USA and Fellow of the Institute of Conflict Resolution, UK; and member/fellow of many professional bodies.
Other awardees include Sen Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial zone; Prof Gregory Nwakoby, Vice-Chancellor, Chuwkuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University; Hon. Lilian Orogbu, member representing Awka North and South Federal Constituency; Hon.
