Introduction to the Concept of Administrative Behaviour,  Administrative behaviours of its various types, professional behaviour in the organisation. Definiton of terms – Discipline and behaivour modification.  Identification of common causes of behavioural problems and characteristics of functional personality.  Need for discipline in schools.  Classroom management styles and their impact on discipline.  Strategies for curbing disciplinary problems in schools.  Models and approaches to discipline with emphasis on the strengths and weaknesses of each.  Steps in behaviour modification.  The role of punishment in effective classroom management.
