The Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) in collaboration with the Sahelian Institute for Bamboo Research and Entrepreneurship Development (SIBRED) of our prestigious University is organizing a one-day Bamboo Investors’ Hybrid Forum at UNIZIK Business School on July 31, 2025 from 10 AM – 4 PM.
- The event (flyer) which will provide a platform for diverse stakeholders to explore investment opportunities and strengthen the bamboo value chain for sustainable economic development in Anambra State will be held under the Distinguished Chairmanship of Engr. Dr. Felix Odimegwu – the Anambra State Commissioner of Environment, with the Acting Vice Chancellor as the Chief Host. The Co-Host is the Director-General/CEO of the Raw Materials Research and Development Council, Abuja – Prof. Nnayelugo Martin Ike-Muonso. The Keynote Speaker is Prof. Muyisa P. Kizimoto, PhD (SIBRED Board Member and Vice Chancellor, Open Learning University, Democratic Republic of Congo), while Mrs. Diana Doheny (an American SIBRED Founding Board Member and Co-Founder of Agroforestry Impact Regeneration, USA) is the Lead Paper Presenter. The Father of the Day is Igwe Iga of Ebenebe – HRM, Chief Christopher Nnaegbune, JP, MFN.
- The event is expected to showcase some products manufactured by SIBRED research team as a boost to the Institute’s entrepreneurship goal.
