    JUPEB Monitoring Team Visits Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

    The Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Monitoring Team has paid an official visit to Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, as part of its ongoing oversight and compliance assessment of JUPEB programmes in Nigerian universities.

    Speaking during a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, the Team Leader, Elijah Oyeyemi, noted that the purpose of the visit was to evaluate the university’s level of compliance with JUPEB standards. He stated that the team would inspect available facilities and engage with both staff and students to assess the effectiveness of programme implementation.
    Prof. Oyeyemi also congratulated the Vice-Chancellor, Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, on his recent assumption of office, commending him for the remarkable progress recorded within a short period.

    In his response, the Vice-Chancellor expressed appreciation to the team for the visit and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to supporting JUPEB’s mandate. He assured the delegation of the institution’s readiness to provide all necessary cooperation to ensure a successful monitoring exercise.

    Members of the JUPEB delegation include Mrs. Odiri Ogbinaka of the JUPEB National Office; Chidi Emmanuel Akunne, Director of JUPEB, UNIZIK; Henry S. Ojukwu; Temple N. Nwankwo; Lucy Onebunne; and Blessing Chijindu Ezeobi, Deputy Registrar I, JUPEB UNIZIK.
