The Governing Council of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has appointed Dr. Chinenye Gloria Okeke as the Substantive Registrar of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
This decision was made during the Council’s 18th Emergency meeting, chaired by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the University Governing Council, Barr. Olugbenga Kukoyi, at the Council Chambers.
Following a rigorous and transparent screening exercise on August 15, 2025, the Governing Council received and considered the report of the joint Council/Senate Selection Board and appointed Dr. Chinenye Okeke.
In her letter of appointment, signed by the Chairman of Council, Barr. Kukoyi, Dr. Okeke’s appointment is effective from Monday, August 18, 2025.
Prior to her appointment, Dr. Okeke served as the Deputy Registrar, Senate Unit of the University.
