The second edition of the Octagon Golf Club Tournament brought a vibrant mix of glamour, excitement, and pageantry to the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Golf Course in Awka.
This highly anticipated one-day event was held yesterday, December 26 and attracted golf enthusiasts and players from across the country. This tournament showcased the sport’s unifying spirit and competitiveness.
Notable participants included Prof. Joseph I. Ikechebelu, Acting Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, and the institution’s 6th Substantive Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Charles Okechukwu Esimone, both delivering remarkable performances on the course. Also in attendance was Chief Ifeanyi Okoye (Juhel) and a host of other distinguished individuals.
