The Governing Council of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has appointed Professor Carol Chinyelugo Arinze-Umobi as Acting Vice-Chancellor following the end of tenure of Professor Joseph I. Ikechebelu.
In a letter signed by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Barrister Olugbenga M. Kukoyi, it reads “By virtue of Section 5(13) of the Act, your term of appointment shall not exceed a maximum period of six (6) months, or until a substantive Vice-Chancellor is appointed, whichever comes first”.
Professor Carol C. Arinze-Umobi will resume on Monday, 19th May, 2025.
