121st UNIZIK Inaugural Lecture: Professor Clementina Agbionu Delivers a Landmark Address

Professor Clementina Uchenna Agbionu delivered the 121st Inaugural Lecture of Nnamdi Azikiwe University on February 12, 2026, focusing on the theme: “Entrepreneurship Development in Nigeria: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly, and the Way Forward”.

The distinguished Professor of Business Administration, Management, and Entrepreneurship presented her insightful discourse on February 12, 2026, to a packed audience at the Zephaniah Madubuko Auditorium, Faculty of Social Sciences.

The central argument of Professor Agbionu’s lecture posits that Nigerian entrepreneurship, though inherently robust and driven by a highly innovative youth population, is systematically hindered by a combination of inadequate infrastructure, financial constraints, and entrenched corruption. She contended that a lack of understanding of the intricacies of entrepreneurship is directly responsible for the current economic challenges facing Nigeria.
    Congratulations, Professor Agbionu
