Areas of Specialization:

Cardio-Pulmonary Physiotherapy; (ii) Geriatric Physiotherapy; (iii) Neurological Physiotherapy (iv) Orthopedic, Sports and Recreational Physiotherapy; (v) Women’s Physiotherapy (Obstetrics and Gynecology Physiotherapy)

Admission Requirement:

O’level

5 O’ level credits to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, physics in not more than two sittings obtained at not more than two sittings

Master’s Degree (MSc)

The candidate must have a first degree, B.Sc Physiotherapy, B. Physiotherapy or BMR (Physiotherapy) degree with an FCGPA of not less than 2.5 from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University

Must possess a current registration with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapist Board of Nigeria (MRTB)

A candidate with a Postgraduate Diploma with an FCGPA of not less than 3.00 may also be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirements are satisfied

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree

A candidate who holds a master’s degree in Physiotherapy with an FCGPA not less than 3.50 on a 5 Point Scale or an average of 60%, from Nnamdi Azikiwe University or a recognized University may be admitted provided the University Matriculation requirement is satisfied

Must have a first degree in physiotherapy.
A current registration with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapist Board of Nigeria (MRTB)
