The 31st Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has honoured the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Carol Chinyelugo Arinze-Umobi, with an Outstanding Leadership Award.
Presenting the Award recently during a courtesy visit led by the SUG President, Comrade Eze Samuel commended the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Arinze-Umobi, on her motherly role in the student community and recognized her as the SUG Patron of the Year 2024/2025.
The Outstanding Award of Leadership and Excellence, as presented by the union, demonstrates Prof. Arinze-Umobi’s dedication to the welfare and development of students in the university.
In her reaction, the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Carol Chinyelugo Arinze-Umobi, appreciated the Students’ Union Government for their kind gestures and assured them of her continued motherly role, reiterating that they are her children.
