All is now set for the 15th anniversary celebration of the establishment of the Campus Radio of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, in the Department of Mass Communication, known as UNIZIK 94.1FM.
According to the release signed by the Station Manager, Ify Obi, the event will be chaired by the Chief Executive Officer of Diamond Leeds Ltd, High Chief Kenneth Ifekudu, OFR, while the wife of the State Governor, Mrs Nonye Soludo is the Special Guest of Honour.
Dignitaries expected at the anniversary include, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Chidubem Iweka III of Obosi as the Royal Father of the day; while the former Vice-Chancellor, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Prof. Ilochi Okafor, and the NBC Zonal Director, Enugu, Mrs Ijeoma Theo Obodo will be the Guests of Honour.
The release also states that the Vice-Chancellor, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Prof. Charles Okechukwu Esimone, FAS will gladly welcome all to the epoch making event as the Chief Host together with the Director, UNIZIK 94.1FM, Prof. Ifeoma Dunu as the Host.
The Chairperson, Organising Committee, Amaka Madu and the Station Manager, Ify Obi said the event will feature installation of Patrons, and the conferment of Awards to deserving individuals who have contributed to the various milestones the station has recorded in its 15 years of existence.
The public is thus invited to join in the joy of the Staff and Management of UNIZIK 94.1FM as their doors would be wide open for all.
