The Management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has introduced a scholarship award for the top eleven students of Unizik High School who excelled in the recently concluded 2024/2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
According to the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Carol Chinyelugo Arinze-Umobi, the scholarship is designed to encourage these outstanding students to continue striving for excellence. Qualifying for the scholarship, students must have selected UNIZIK as their first choice and scored 300 or above in the UTME.
Professor Arinze-Umobi announced that the award, which carries a prize of #150,000, will be presented annually to students who maintain an average of 3.50 CGPA in their first year of study and other years.
