    Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, under the leadership of the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Carol Chinyelugo Arinze-Umobi, has achieved another historic milestone with the appointment of one of its esteemed staff members, Professor Ngozi Eunice Egbuna as Nigeria’s first-ever World Trade Organisation (WTO) Chair.

    Prof. Egbuna, appointed to this prestigious position is for a four-year term, effective 2025.

    This appointment is a significant recognition of Prof. Egbuna’s expertise as Director of International Centre for Regional Integration and Trade Research (ICRITR), UNIZIK and will enhance Nigeria’s and Africa’s academic influence in global trade policy.
