UNIZIK VC Hosts COOU Counterpart, Receives Convocation Invitation.
The Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, on April 14, 2026, received the Vice-Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, on a courtesy visit to his office.
During the visit, Prof. Omenugha expressed appreciation for the warm reception and offered prayers for a successful tenure for the UNIZIK Vice-Chancellor. She noted that the purpose of the visit was to formally invite him to COOU’s 16th Convocation Ceremony, scheduled to be held from April 21 to 25, 2026.
In his response, Prof. Anyaehie thanked his visitor and her delegation for the visit and the invitation. He assured them of his goodwill and promised to show solidarity despite his tight schedule.
The COOU delegation included the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration & Environmental Sustainability, Prof. A. C. Nweke; Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Development & Uli Campus Affairs, Prof. Sylvia Okonkwo; and Public Relations Officer, Dr. Harrison Madubueze.
On the UNIZIK side were the Registrar, Dr. Chinenye Gloria Okeke; Special Adviser to the Vice-Chancellor on ICT, Prof. Ikenna Onyenwe; and Special Adviser to the Vice-Chancellor on Administrative Matters, Mr. MacAnthony Obiezeani, among others.
