The Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, recently received the Directorate of Grants Development and Management Office.
The courtesy visit was led by the Director of Grants Development and Management Office, Prof. Samuel Mary Onwubuiko Obiora. He emphasised that this high-level collaborative effort reaffirms Professor Anyaehie’s unwavering commitment to positioning the university as a global hub for impactful research and sustainable development. He also noted that the visionary leadership of the Vice Chancellor is often recognised by the acronym B.O.N.D. (Boldness, Opportunity, Networking, and Development) engaged in extensive discussions about innovative grantmanship. The goal was to establish sustainable environmental initiatives that would enhance, articulate, and integrate the university’s core academic missions.
In response, the Vice Chancellor expressed gratitude to the Grant Development and Management Team, emphasising the importance of international collaboration in positioning research effectively.
