UNIZIK VC Undertakes Facility Tour of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company, Nnewi.
In his continued drive toward infrastructural advancement and strategic partnerships, the Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, alongside his management team, undertook a facility tour of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company in Nnewi on Friday, 20th February, 2026.
The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Chief Innocent Chukwuma (Ifediaso Nnewi), personally conducted the Vice-Chancellor and his delegation around the manufacturing facilities. During the visit, he expressed his readiness to support the Vice-Chancellor in realizing his vision for the growth and infrastructural development of the University.
The Vice-Chancellor’s entourage included the Ag. DVC, Prof. Hilda Osisioma; Prof. Pius Okoye; Governing Council member, Prof. Stella Anasi; University Librarian, Prof. Kingsley Ubaoji; the Dean of Student Affairs; the University Chief Safety Officer, Chief Ken Chukwurah; and the Ag. PRO, Mr. Njelita Louis, among others.
Also present during the visit were officials of the Bank of Industry, who had recently handed over a 30-bedroom student hostel to the University at the College of Health Sciences, Nnewi.
The visit highlights the University’s commitment to fostering industry partnerships that will enhance innovation, infrastructure, and institutional development.
