




UNIZIK Vice-Chancellor Monitors Ongoing First Semester 2025/2026 Examinations.
The Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, has continued to demonstrate strong commitment to academic excellence and quality assurance as he monitored the ongoing First Semester 2025/2026 examinations across various faculties of the University.
Acting on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Alex Chinwuba Asigbo, embarked on a comprehensive monitoring tour of examination centers within the institution.
The faculties visited included the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Management Sciences, Faculty of Biosciences, Faculty of Physical Sciences (Science Village), as well as the UNIZIK Digital Library.
During the inspection, it was observed that examinations commenced promptly at the officially approved time in most of the centres visited. Both staff and students were seen conducting themselves in an orderly and disciplined manner, reflecting the University’s commitment to upholding high standards of academic integrity. The general atmosphere across the centres was calm, organized, and free from any major hitches.
A Professor in the Department of Applied Biochemistry and former Dean of the Faculty of Biosciences, Prof. Stanley Udedi, commended the Vice-Chancellor, ably represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), for the level of preparedness exhibited by the University. He noted that the early planning, proper coordination, and logistical readiness significantly contributed to the smooth and seamless conduct of the examinations thus far.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) was accompanied on the monitoring exercise by Mr. Oramadike Ifeanyi, DVC Academic MICTU Officer, and a representative of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Mr. Bonny Ozo Nkwuaku.
The monitoring exercise underscores the University Management’s unwavering dedication to maintaining academic standards, ensuring transparency, and providing a conducive environment for students to perform at their best.
