UNIZIK VICE-CHANCELLOR RECEIVES DELEGATION FROM THE DIRECTORATE OF SANDWICH.
Ahead of a one-day workshop on Artificial Intelligence scheduled to be held at the ASUU NAU Secretariat on Thursday, March 26, 2026, a delegation from the Directorate of Sandwich paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, in his office.
Addressing the Vice-Chancellor, the Director of the Sandwich Unit, Prof. Chinyelu Nwokolo, expressed appreciation for the warm reception. She used the opportunity to brief the Vice-Chancellor on the forthcoming workshop on Artificial Intelligence, scheduled to take place at the ASUU Secretariat.
In his response, the Vice-Chancellor commended the delegation for the visit and expressed optimism that the workshop would yield valuable insights and impactful outcomes beneficial to the University community.
Other members of the delegation included the Chairman of the occasion, Prof. Chris Anyamene; the Deputy Director and LOC Chairman, Prof. Stanley Mgbemena; the Chairman of the Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB), Dr. Vera Nwadinobi; the Chairman of the Post Primary Schools Commission (PPSC), Prof. Nkechi Ikediugwu; and the Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ikioye Orutugu.
The courtesy visit was subsequently followed by the workshop and award ceremony held at the ASUU Secretariat.
