The vice chancellor, prof. Joseph E. Ahaneku, FAS has extended his congratulations to miss Chisom Jennifer Omeokachie. A 300 level student from the department of mass communication whose campus magazine/blog campusconnect.ng emerged campus magazine of the year 2018.
The campus journalism award is organized by youths digest and image merchants. The award was presented to miss Omeokachie in Abuja on the 24th of March , 2018.
She was also nominated for syndicated writer of the year for her articles- “Elders and a failed nation” and “towards a peaceful gubernatorial election in Anambra state”, which were published on mainstream daily newspapers including the vanguard, the tribune, the guardian and equally on online news platforms like premium times, daily post and daily Nigerian.
