VC UNIZIK RECEIVES DELEGATION OF ASSOCIATION OF HEADS OF FEDERAL ESTABLISHMENT, ANAMBRA STATE.
The Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, on Monday, 23rd March 2026, received members of the Association of Heads of Federal Establishments, Anambra State during a courtesy visit to his office.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the Chairperson of the Association, Dr. Ogbonna Blessing, who also serves as the Coordinator of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria in Anambra State, stated that the purpose of the visit was to formally familiarize themselves with the Vice-Chancellor as one of their members.
She reminded the Vice-Chancellor that, as the head of a federal institution in Anambra State, he automatically qualifies as a member of the Association. Dr. Ogbonna further highlighted the importance of the organization and encouraged the Vice-Chancellor to participate actively in its monthly meetings.
In his response, Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie expressed appreciation to the delegation for the visit and assured them of his continued support and cooperation with the Association.
Other members of the delegation included the Vice Chairperson, Mrs. Chizoba Irono; the Financial Secretary, Mrs. Ufelle Chika, who also serves as the Zonal Director of the National Directorate of Employment; and Engr. Basil Jam, who is the Head of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria.
