The Professor of Ceramic explained that the essence of ceramic introduction was a very remarkable feature of the womenfolk even when there has not been any known legislation.

Furthermore, he enumerated the challenges confronting ceramics practice in Nigeria as follows; finance, crisis in identity, inadequacy of power, multiple tax burden and lack of training. Consequently, he stated that the challenges that have bedeviled the ceramics industry in Nigeria have been so overwhelming that they have taken their tolls in the industry while some of the manufacturing outfits have gone under, others struggle to exist. Prof. okunna advised the youths to use not only their brains but also their hands because with ceramic there are opportunities to be gainfully employed not only for oneself but for others and opportunities to create wealth, and add to the overall economic development of the country.
