UNIZIK TO RETAIN ITS BEST GRADUATING STUDENTS – UNIZIK VC, PROF. ESIMONE.
UNIZIK have adopted a scheme to retain its best graduating students in the aftermath of their youth service as Graduate Assistants for their various departments and faculties.
These were the remarks of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Charles Esimone on the occasion of the 14th Convocation Prize Giving Day.
Prof. Esimone stated that the event was an opportunity to celebrate the best in the past academic year as well as inspire others to work hard and excel in their field of endeavour. The Professor of Biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Microbiology stated that the occasion is significant as the University has gotten in touch with Industries to endow Graduands who have excelled in academics.
Prof. Esimone also promised that their will be post graduate training for them to further enhance their capacity and add value to the system as well as help to train and nurture students under their watch in the nearest future. The Chief Executive Officer also eulogized the parents and sponsors for a job well done in training and giving these young ones the opportunity to excel in their field of endeavour.
