The University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Nigeria Conservation Foundation for the afforestation and natural resources conservation programme for degraded areas of the Awka Campus of the University.
This Programme, which has already taken off, involves the planting of twenty thousand (20,000) plants of different species in the identified degraded areas of the Campus.
