The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Joseph E. Ahaneku, FAS announces the death of the University Registrar, Dr. Ike Hyacinth Isidienu, FCAI who died on 19th June, 2018 at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu after a brief illness. The family has equally informed the University of new dates for the burial rites as follows:
- Date: Wednesday, August 22, 2018 – Inter-Denominational Service
Time: 11.00 am
Venue: University Auditorium
- Date: Thursday, August 23, 2018 – Vigil Mass
Time: 5.00 pm
Venue: His Country home, Achalla-Uni Village, Nteje
- Date: Friday, August 24, 2018 – Requiem Mass
Time: 10.00 am
Venue: Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Nteje, followed by interment at his compound
Towards a successful burial the Vice-Chancellor has constituted a burial committee with the following persons as members;
