Application Process

Application form should be completed online by logging onto https://apply.cpgs.unizik.edu.ng/

Step 1: Fill out the information and submit

Step 2: A mail will be sent your Email address

Step 3: Open the Email, Click on ‘Verify’ to verify your account

Step 4: The Email will also contain your Application Number

Step 5: when you click ‘verify’ it should take you to the portal to Login, where you will Enter your Application Number and your Email.

Step 6: Once you Login, you will be required to make payment for the Application, you can either pay with your card or bank transfer.

step 7: Once payment is done, the portal opens up, you can then fill the different sections of the form and Submit.

 PhD applicants in submitting their forms shall upload a proposal of not more than five type-written pages that should include:

1. Name of Applicant
2. Proposed Department and Faculty
3. Topic (not more than 18 words)
4. Brief background of the Study
5. Aim and Objectives/Purpose
6. Methodology
7. Expected Outcomes
8. References

Application Process for the 2024/2025 Session

• Sale of Forms begin 28th February, 2024.
• Sale of Forms End 3rd September, 2024.
• Transcripts should be forwarded to the Secretary, College of Postgraduate Studies not later than

30th September, 2024.

Candidates should note the following:

1. Applicants may be invited for Screening Test.
2. PhD candidates would be required to present Proposal Defense at a date to be announced in due time.
3. PhD applicants in submitting their forms shall upload a proposal of not more than five type-written pages.
