General Overview of the Online Mode of Study for the Postgraduate Students

Our online study mode is simple and easily adaptable. In this study mode, lessons will be delivered online through the Unizik Learning Management System (LMS).

Guideline for the Online Mode of Study

  1. Registration: After admission, you will be required to pay some necessary fees before commencing registration. Upon your completion of registration, you will be assigned; a registration number, LMS platform link, and an online access code.
  2. Mode of Lecture Delivery: The mode of delivery can be a combination of synchronous and asynchronous.  Synchronous online classes involve a real-time meeting of students with the instructor while asynchronous online classes are not real-time but students will be required to complete work within a given time frame.
  3. Assignment: Assignments will be given online on the platform by the course instructor and when done, can equally be submitted online by the students.
  4. Examination: Examination may be taken online or physically depending on the nature of the course but the students will be duly communicated.
  5. Technical requirements: Technical requirements include having a computer system (mobile phone or personal computer). Installation of the Unizik LMS and other video conferencing software like google meet, Microsoft Team, and Team Viewer.
  6. Platform training: Students will be trained on the use of the LMS Platform as part of the orientation programme.

How To Apply

Application form should be completed online by logging onto https://apply.cpgs.unizik.edu.ng/

Step 1: Fill out the information and submit

Step 2: A mail will be sent your Email address

Step 3: Open the Email, Click on ‘Verify’ to verify your account

Step 4: The Email will also contain your Application Number

Step 5: when you click ‘verify’ it should take you to the portal to Login, where you will Enter your Application Number and your Email.

Step 6: Once you Login, you will be required to make payment for the Application, you can either pay with your card or bank transfer.

step 7: Once payment is done, the portal opens up, you can then fill the different sections of the form and Submit.
